Simulator Adapter Modules for GE Fanuc PLC Series 90-30

The adapter module is mounted on the 90-30 backplane and it takes one slot on the PLC. The simulator requires +5V power which is taken directly from the backplane. The modules are connected to the front of a corresponding input and output module. So if you have a 90-30 demo with the right I/O modules and 3 empty slots, the only thing you need for your presentations and training is the 90-30 Simulator Adapter Set.

Currently we offer three simulator adapter modules for 90-30 PLC:
Discrete Inputs Simulator Adapter (KR693SIM654)
Discrete Outputs Simulator Adapter KR693SIM752)
Analog Combo Simulator Adapter (KR693SIM442)

The modules may be also be ordered in one of the following sets:
90-30 Discrete and Analog Simulation Set (KR693SET004)
90-30 Discrete Simulation Set (KR693SET005)
All sets include simulator adapters and cables.

From left to right: 32 TTL Inputs Module IC693MDL654, Discrete Inputs Simulator Adapter KR693SIM654

The Discrete Inputs Simulator Adapter module for the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller provides discrete input signals simulation for the 32 TTL Inputs module IC693MDL654. The simulator has 16 two-position switches and four digit BCD thumbwheel on the front. Each switch simulates discrete input device. The adapter module is mounted on the 90-30 backplane and it takes one slot on the PLC. The simulator requires +5V power which is taken from the backplane.

The Discrete Inputs Simulator Adapter module is a valuable training and demonstration tool, since it can be used to substitute the real inputs while running program on the PLC. It may become very useful during development to help debugging and troubleshooting programs. It may also remain permanently attached to the system to provide 16 conditional input contacts and a numerical entry device.

Compatibility KR693SIM654 may only be used with GE Fanuc 32 TTL Inputs module IC693MDL654 for Series 90-30 PLC
Power No external power necessary
Inputs Per Module 16 signals simulated by two-position switches a positive decimal value from the range 0 - 9999; the value is entered from a thumbwheel switch that encodes it on 16 bits as a BCD number (binary coded decimal)
Operating Temperature 0 to 60ºC (32 to 60ºF)
Storage Temperature -40 to 85ºC (-40 to 185ºF)
Humidity 5 to 95% non-condensing

The Discrete Outputs Simulator Adapter module for the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller provides discrete output signals display for the 32 Points 5 48 V Outputs module IC693MDL752. The simulator has sixteen LEDs and four digit BCD display on the front. The LEDs display current status of the outputs signals and the BCD display allows to display an integer number of the range 0 9999.

The adapter module is mounted on the 90-30 backplane and it takes one slot on the PLC. The simulator requires +5V power which is taken from the backplane.

The Discrete Outputs Simulator Adapter module is a valuable training and demonstration tool, since it can be used to display current status of output signals while the program is running on the PLC. It could be very useful during development to help debugging and troubleshooting programs. It may also remain permanently attached to the system to provide sixteen status display lights and a numerical display.

Compatibility KR693SIM752 may only be used with GE Fanuc 32 Points 5 48 V Outputs module IC693MDL752 for Series 90-30 PLC
Power +5V taken from the backplane
Internal Power Consumption 300mA (all outputs on, numerical display set to 8888) from the backplane
Outputs Per Module 16 signals displayed on the LEDs a positive decimal value from the range 0 - 9999; the BCD value is taken from 16 output bits and displayed on 4 digits 7 segment display
Operating Temperature 0 to 60ºC (32 to 60ºF)
Storage Temperature -40 to 85ºC (-40 to 185ºF)

KR693SIM442 Analog Combo Simulator Adapter Back to top

From left to right: Analog Inputs and 2 Analog Outputs Module IC693ALG442, Analog Input and Output Simulator Adapter KR693SIM442

The Analog Combo Simulator Adapter module for the GE Fanuc Series 90-30 Programmable Logic Controller provides one analog input signal for an analog input module and monitors one analog output channel in an analog output module. The simulator has one potentiometer capable of adjusting the input signal within the range of -10V to +10V. The potentiometer provides a voltage input signal for one analog input channel. The module is also equipped with a bar-graph display with the resolution of 1 V and signal polarity monitoring. The bar graph displays voltage within the range from -10 to +10 VDC. The adapter module is mounted on the 90-30 backplane and it takes one slot on the PLC. The simulator requires +5V power which is taken from the backplane.

The Analog Combo Simulator Adapter module is a valuable training and demonstration tool, since it can be used to substitute the real input and monitor the real output while running program on the PLC. It may become very useful during development to help debugging and troubleshooting programs. It may also remain permanently attached to the system to provide means of entering a set point and monitoring control values.

Compatibility KR693SIM442 is primarily designed to be used with GE Fanuc Analog Combo module IC693ALG442. It may also be used with GE Fanuc analog inputs or outputs modules, such as IC693ALG220, IC693ALG222, IC693ALG390.
